Location: Clarion Area High School, 219 Liberty St., Clarion, PA 16214
Start Time: 9:00 AM – 5 & Under, 7 & Under, 9 & Under, 11 & Under, 13 & Under Must be at school ready to wrestle 45 minutes before schedule start time.
Eligibility: Age Division determined by age as of December 31, 2018. Proof of age will be required if challenged, challenging wrestler must also provide proof of age. Challenge Fees is $20 Cash, non~ refundable.
Rules: Modified PIAA Rules. Wrestling format: 5 man or less in weight class will be round robin, 6 or more in a weight class will be a double elimination bracket / true second and wrestle to top 6 th place. All wrestlers must make weight. Wrestler must wrestle to receive award top three. Decision of Referees and Tournament Director are Final. All matches will be (1~1~1) except for 13 & Under (1:30~1:30~1:30). ALL Overtime 1:00 with :30 ride out. Brackets may be combined or split upon the Tournament Directors discretion.
Weighins: Friday, February 1 – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Clarion High School Gym Saturday, February 2 – 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM – Clarion HS Wrestling Room No Weight Allowances, wrestlers not making weight will be scratched, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Changes to weight class can occur on Friday Evening Weigh~In ONLY!!!
Entry Fee: $25 Online Registration Only (www.wrestlereg.com) LIMITED to FIRST 250 Wrestlers On~Line Entry – Closed on Jan. 31 @ 11 PM NO REFUNDS, NO WALK~INS
Admissions: $5 adults, $2 Students, Free 4 & under – Concessions and Hot Foods will be available all~day including breakfast. Use designated eating areas. Clarion Area School District is Tobacco Free. No smoking or tobacco on school grounds.
