KENILWORTH GOLDEN BEAR 2018 OPEN AND NOVICE TOURNAMENT

Date: Sunday December 30th, 2018
Registration Fee: $30 until Monday 12/24/18, $35 thereafter
(Plus $2.25 Online Registration)
Tournament info: Tournament will be limited to approximately
450 wrestlers. The last 7 years have been FULL, so register
early! DO NOT WAIT TO REGISTER!! Wrestling will take place on
6 mats. All wrestlers should receive at least 2
bouts. Modified HS rules will apply.
Overtime: 1:00 Sudden death, 30 sec rideout.
Headgear is mandatory. This is a SAME DAY weigh in
tournament! All wrestlers MUST weigh within 2lbs of their
online registered weight or will be forfeited out of the tournament
with no refund!
Divisions:
Pee Wee (Born 2012 or 2013)
Bantam Novice (Born 2010 or 2011)
Bantam Open (Born 2010 or 2011)
Midget Novice (Born 2008 or 2009)
Midget Open (Born 2008 or 2009)
Junior (Born 2006 or 2007)
Intermediate (Born 2004 or 2005)
Proof of age will be required if challenged
Bout times:
Pee Wee, Bantam Novice, Bantam Open, Midget Novice: 1~1~1
Midget Open, Junior and Intermediate: 1 ~ 1.5 ~ 1.5
Split Session Times/Same day Weigh Ins:
Pee Wee, Bantam Novice, Midget Novice and Bantam Open: Weigh
ins from 7am~ 8am.
Wrestling to begin at 8:30am sharp!
Midget Open, Junior and Intermediate: Weigh ins from 10:30am
– 12pm. Wrestling to begin at 12:30pm sharp!
Weight Classes: Madison system.
WEIGHT CHANGES: Wrestlers will be able to change their
registered weight until Thursday, 12/27/18. All weights will
be final after 12/27/18! Please contact vrap7245@cs.com to
change weights.

AS SOON AS THE TOURNAMENT HAS REACHED CAPACITY!) You can
register online and pay via credit card. Once you have
completed the registration AND payment process, you will receive a
receipt of payment via email. If your payment is not made at
the time of registration, your information will not be saved and you
will not be entered into the tournament. Online registration
guarantees your entry into the tournament. If you have difficulties

Team Pay: Is your program bringing a team and will be paying

Awards: Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in
the open divisions and participation medals for all novice
wrestlers.
Food/Concessions: Cafeteria will be open all day.
Professional apparel and concessions also available.
