Paul Johnson Memorial Wrestling Tournament

DATE: Saturday, February 4, 2012 Coaches meeting 8:00 am Wrestling begins at 8:30am

PLACE : Titusville High School, 302 E. Walnut Street, Titusville, PA 16354

WEIGH-INS: All ages, Friday 2/3/12 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm All weigh-in at Titusville High School

Saturday, 2/4/12 - 6 & under, 7 & 8, and 11 & 12, 6:00 – 8:00 am;

Saturday, 2/4/12 – 9 & 10, 13 & 14, 10:00 – 11:00 am

NO WEIGHT ALLOWANCES!!! NO WEIGHT CHANGES AT THE SCALES!!!

Wrestlers not making weight will be scratched and no refunds will be issued.

 TIMES: Staggered Start

Age groups 6 and under, 7-8 and 11-12 start time at 8:30 am

Age groups 9-10 and 13-14 start time at approximately 12:30 pm. Wrestlers should report by 11:30 am.

Registration deadline: February 1, 2012 No Late Registrations will be accepted.

 ENTRY FEE: Pre-registration only!! Online: $22.00 Limited to 500 wrestlers

AGE ELIGIBILITY: Age as of January 1 2012. Proof of age required upon request.

RULES: Double elimination PIAA rules will govern. Periods 2-1-1. No varsity wrestlers. (Overtime 1 st period neutral position, 1 min. 2 nd period choice of top of bottom, 30 sec. (PIAA). Brackets of 2 or less will be moved up to the next weight class.

ADMISSIONS: Adults $4.00 students 12 and under $2.00

REFRESHMENTS: Cafeteria will be open at 6:30 am and remain open all day. No food or drink in Gyms

AWARDS: Individual Awards 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th places and Tee shirt for 1 st place winner.
