2010 PA JUNIOR WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
SECTION 5 – BIGLERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Weigh-Ins: Sunday, March 7th Time: 10:00 to 11:00 AM

Deadline for online registration is March 4th and will close at 9:00 PM.
RULES
1. Entry fee covers insurance and entry requirements. No advancement fees will be required.
2. A wrestlers age group classification is determined by his/her age as of December 31st, 2009. Example: Wrestlers
13th birthday is on 1/1/2010 will compete in 11 & 12 age group.
3. All matches will be governed by the PIAA rules except as modified by the PJWC.
4. All bouts will consist of 3 periods; 2-1-1 min. Overtime is 1 min then 30-second ride out.
5. Headgear is required in all PJW tournaments.
6. Shoelaces must be secured.
7. The PIAA hair rule is in effect for all PJW tournaments.
8. Entrants must weigh in at the weight registered; entrants not making weight will be scratched.
9. Wrestlers must wrestle in his/her age group and may not enter another age division or weight class.
10. Wrestlers may only enter 1 Area IX qualifier.
11. Wrestler must reside in 1 of the following counties: Adams, Berks (except Boyertown School District),
Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, York and Schuylkill.
12. Birth certificates will be required for all State Championship Qualifiers.
13. The Application and Code of Conduct must be signed and completed in its entirety.
14. NO HATS ARE PERMITED IN THE WRESTLING AREA.
15. The Area IX Qualifiers and Area IX Championship will wrestle back to a true 2nd place winner.
16. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. 3rd place finishers will be alternates to advance in the event that one
of the top 2 finishers are unable to advance to the Area IX Championship Tournament.
The 1st & 2nd place winner will advance to the Area IX Championship on Saturday, March
20th at The Central Dauphin East High School. The 1st & 2nd Place winners from the Area IX
Championship will advance to the PJW State Championship to be held on March 26th & 27th
at The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

ENTRANTS CODE OF CONDUCT:
I/We understand that the Tournament Director, under the guidance of the PJWC, may withdraw the above named wrestler if he/she is
involved in behavior or activity deemed to be detrimental to the health, safety or welfare of other participants, spectators, tournament
staff, or tournament sites: or if involved in actions considered to be detrimental to the goals and objectives of PJW. I/We also release
all tournament host, tournament locations, tournament personnel and the PJW Association of any and all liabilities of injury and/or
damages while participating in The Pa Jr. Wrestling Tournaments.
